From chic picnics and vine dining to food tours and private cheffing.
The Courtyard Kitchen celebrates fresh flavours from the Mediterranean.
Chic Picnics and Vine Dining
What could be better than a delicious meal served at a long table in the French countryside, surrounded by vines and accompanied by wine from the local Domain?
Our lunchtime “Chic Picnics” are a slightly more casual affair with charcuteries platters and fresh jar salads accompanied by a selection of French breads. This is followed by a scrumptious cheese platter and dessert.
Our evening “ Vine Dining” events are a slightly more formal affair. A 3 course dinner paired with food from a local winery served at a beautifully decorated table..
We are based near Béziers and Pézenas in the south of France.
Food and Cookery Experiences
On our food experiences based near Béziers, you’ll get to visit local food producers and see the best that the region has to offer. Dining out will be a very French affair, from local village eateries to a Michelin star restaurant, introducing you to this region’s local dining scene.
You’ll get to shop at a food market and produce some typical local French dishes from the ingredients. The fruits of your labour will be enjoyed “al fresco” in the middle of the countryside with views over the vineyards. The meal will be paired with carefully chosen wines from a local domain.
If you’re in the area, we also offer the option of a 1 day market visit with a hands on cookery demonstration followed by a 3 course meal with wine.
We bring the restaurant to you. Allowing you to relax with your guests whilst you enjoy fine food and wine, without having to worry about baby sitters or taxis.
I’m passionate about this wonderfully eclectic food region that makes up the Mediterranean. With its roots in French country cooking, food from the South of France is also heavily influenced by flavours from Spain, Italy and North Africa. I feel so lucky to call this my culinary playground.
We’re based between Béziers and Pézenas in the Hérault department of the South of France.
